Your not too old. If you feel so strongly you should head down and see an army recruiter. Otherwise your commitment to staying in Iraq rings pretty hollow.

And seriously what is it with "old" people that like telling young people to enlist if they like it? Give me a break. You have your opinion, does that mean that you have to smoke pot, wear berkenstocks, eat soy lentil soup and sing 'we will overcome' all the time?
PWYP- you are preaching peace, no? Then why be so antagonistic in chatrooms/message boards anonymously?
Reality is that there is probably no easy solution, but like most controversial issues in this country it has become a partisan issue and therefore dems and GOPers just will not agree regardless of the theoretical ends.
I hope you peaceniks all enjoy candles and I also hope you warhawks enjoy candles, because that is basically the only thing happening to end this now futile effort in Iraq.
